Canada has issued Travel Advisory against Oropouche Virus!
The Canadian government issued an Oropouche travel advisory to counter its spread.
This is happening because South America is reeling under this virus, with Cuba being the worst hit and cases increasing in Bolivia & Brazil.
This virus was first detected in the Trinidad’s Vega de Oropouche community in a forest worker.
The virus,
- Spreads by small flies (afternoon) and mosquitoes (night).
- Shows symptoms of severe headache, fever, chills, and joint & muscle pain.
- Might also cause rashes, vomiting, dizziness, and nausea.
No cure is available as of yet, and the only thing one can do is take pain & fever meds along with rest and plenty of fluids!
To prevent the disease spread, Canada is asking its citizens to avoid,
- travelling to South America, and
- contact with a person who has had a recent travel history in South America.
Stay safe!

Are you also staring at your screen for too long? Digital Dementia incoming!
Dementia has many forms, and its latest version is Digital Dementia!
It is happening because of the elongated screen times, negligible physical activity, less sleep, social isolation, and anxiety.
But the underlying cause is our reliability on smart devices and decreased dependency on our memories & brain power.
It starts by making you forget about breaks or even get away from the screens! Whoever has to work in front of the screens for a longer period of time is at risk.
To prevent Digital Dementia,
- Limit Screen time
- Take Breaks
- Do something Physical
- Get at least 7 hours of sleep.
- Practice Mindfulness, deep breathing and Meditation
- Limit Multitasking
- Try using Blue light filters
In short, come back to the physical realm, often!

The Peak season in PPC is upon us. Are you ready?
With the festival season almost upon us, the PPC campaigns need to be optimized accordingly.
But how do you ensure that your PPC campaigns are working fine?
You can take the following tests to judge the same:
Channel Diversification Testing
It helps in choosing the right channel for PPC marketing.
- Measure Pros and Cons of possible channels by aligning them with your goals.
- Set a test budget and see the results of the PPC campaigns on these channels, accordingly.
CRO and Landing Page Testing
Right now you can test your new landing pages or changes in any old landing page.
- Build landing pages depending upon low CVR (conversion ratio) and engagement rates.
- Do cross channel tests using GA4 or Google Analytics 4.
- Test variables like Copy (above the fold), Impactful Layout, Social Proofs, Form fields, and CTAs.
Seasonal Offer Testing
Test different CTAs and offers to find out the best combinations.
Incremental Testing
This is the best testing for the slower or colder periods of PPC campaigns.
- Holdout testing via using groups that you usually do not cater ads to and comparing the ad performance vs. normally advertised groups.
- Geo testing via measure PPC campaign performance in geolocations (that don’t get your ads) vs. normally advertised geolocations.
Default settings Test
It is always good to remove any additional settings and run PPC campaigns on default settings to judge the power of the content and creativity of the ads.
With these tests, your PPC campaigns will be ready when the festive season comes knocking!

Using the Old MacOS App? You are about to lose WhatsApp!
With WhatsApp unveiling new features almost every week, the older versions of its apps are finding it difficult to support the latest changes.
And if you are still using the older version of WhatsApp’s MacOS app, then you will not be able to use WhatsApp after 50 days.
The reason behind the end of support for older MacOS App is its development platform, Electron, which cannot support 2024’s WhatsApp features, as it was running as a web app.
Update to the latest version after taking backup of your WhatsApp chats before the 50 days are over.
