Today marks one year since that historic day and event, and thus the Indian Government is celebrating it as the first National Space Day, lest we forget it.

LiteSpeed Cache, a plugin in WordPress, has a critical flaw!

WordPress is reeling under yet another plugin issue that is giving away Admin Access to hackers.
LiteSpeed Cache, a widely used plugin to improve website loading speed, is the latest prey of hackers because of its privilege escalation vulnerability that is unauthenticated!
Using this Admin Access, hackers can install or remove malicious plugins.
This vulnerability has been dubbed CVE-2024-28000 with a CVSS score of 9.8 and has been resolved in version 6.4. The affected versions are 6.3.0.1 and the preceding ones.
Upgrade the plugin, if you are using it!

The tool is called “Troubleshooting Tool,” and here’s how it works:

- It will even help you restore any changes that might have been made after being hacked!

India, being the neutral party, is taking advantage of this situation and buying oil from Russia to sell it to the whole world, especially Europe.
China had to decrease its oil purchases as it was not able to make enough profits as the world prefers India over China!

Gmail’s new feature, called Polish will help you write fantastic emails, though.
You can also use shortcuts like “Refine my draft” and “Help me write” on your iOS and Android Gmail apps.
You just need a rough draft and let Polish do its wonders with a click!
If the email is empty, then you will see Help and Refine options, but if you have written more than 12 words, then only the Refine option will show.
This feature is by default and cannot be turned off.

Well, the advertisers on Google were facing it! Their Shopping Ads were,
- Displaying someone else’s products in their ads, and
- Sharing confidential data with others.

This issue has been bugging the advertisers since July 31st and is now resolved!
But the advertisers are asking Google to be more clear, share transparent reports, have effective timelines, and share measures to avoid such an issue in the future!

Slapped Cheek Virus; Isn’t that a funky name for a disease?
But it is very real, and it is currently troubling the USA.
It is also known as the Human Parvovirus or the fifth virus, or the B19 virus!
As the name suggests, the affected person, mostly kids, gets rashes on their face that look like a slapped cheek.
Normally, the virus isn’t deadly, but for pregnant and low-immune people, it can pose a serious threat.
The CDC (in USA) or the Centres for Disease Control and Prevention and 14 EU countries have sounded alert for the same.
The Mpox virus has reached 116 countries!

A new global health emergency has been declared by the WHO for the Mpox, or monkey pox virus!
Currently, the disease is at an alarming stage in Africa. It has a mortality rate of 2 in 1000 patients, and India has reported 30 cases as of now since 2022.
Mpox is an infectious disease that causes fever, swollen lymph nodes, and painful rashes all over the body.
It spreads through close contact with the affected person.
The Indian government has intrusted authorities at airports, borders, and ports to be vigilant about it and transfer affected people to designated hospitals.
You can get the Mpox vaccine and maintain social distance to be safe!
